Joey Regalbuto is an accomplished musician who has been in the industry for over 20 years. As male lead vocalist and guitarist he has been a member of Head Over Heels since 2003. His passion and love for music of all kinds started at age 4. It was very clear to anyone who knew Joey - music was in his future. He could only dream of being as talented as his father, who played the accordion; his grandmother, a guitar player; or his mother, who sings like an angel. Music influences every aspect of his life. Most recently, by teaching young aspiring musicians via private guitar lessons and teaching at the kids summer program “Beyond Rock”. He also writes many different styles of music, including kids' songs, inspired by his own son and daughter.
Over the years Joey has been involved with numerous musical endeavors including being a roadie, sound engineer in multiple bands with his older brothers, school plays, talent shows, DJ'ing / MC'ing and hosting local karaoke shows in his hometown in the Bronx. Later on, he was a valued member of the original band 4 Wilson Drive, who developed a strong fan base with their pop rock style in the greater metropolitan area; Loose Moose, finalists on VH-1’s game show Cover Wars, hosted by Paul Shaffer; Jane Doe, who made a home for themselves in various establishments on the well known strip of Bell Boulevard in Bayside, Queens. During his time with Head Over Heels, he has had the privilege of playing for astronaut Buzz Aldrin, as well as numerous members of the PGA, just to mention a few.
Although he is known for wailing on his PRS 24 Custom guitar and singing his heart out, he is also well versed in over 10 other instruments. It is musicians like Led Zeppelin, Paul McCartney and Nuno Bettencourt, among others, who fueled the dream of a little boy who wouldn’t go to bed so he could watch his family play and enjoy music.
